How to make money online using web 2.0 properties for the very novice begginer

I am not a guru nor am I making millions online, however I started out on my quest to make money online six months ago and I have found out some easy ways that you can use to taste the waters, especially for affiliate marketing. This testing is to avoid you using money to buy many domain names and web design before you know if a product will make you any money or if affiliate marketing is something you can do. There are many other different ways one can make money online, affiliate marketing is just one, and this method here is just one way you can sue to do affiliate marketing.The one way I taste water to know how to make money online is by using web2.0 properties. These are properties that have emerged in the recent times that are user friendly enabling people who are technically challenged, like me to have web presence in a flash.

There are many web2.0 properties out there and I here is a list that I have tried to use.

Honestly the best that I have found so far to be the best are blogger, hubpages and wordpress.

Then there are article directories that you can use in addition to the above properties.

As a beginner trying to make money online you can use this free resources to try out, the good thing is that these sites will get you indexed faster if you do some basic keyword research that I will show you later.

Having introduced that I will move on to the first thing that you will do. And this is getting a product that you want to promote. There are two places that I use to select products, amazon and clickbank market place.

Amazon products are easy to promote since people trust amazon and clickbank has a wide range of digital products which you simply choose a product and you move on with the promotion.

The other advantage with this sites is that they are free to join and anyone from any country can join and start out with affiliate marketing and make money online. So simply log into those tow sites register as an affiliate and choose a product.

Do not spend tones of time there, get the best selling product that you looks interesting to you and grab it. You will do keyword research later, for now get it and run with it. You are testing waters here, this is not a sure win. It is also a good introduction to affiliate marketing that will not leave your head spinning in circles, markets and methods.

So the question you are asking so far is how will I use the properties to make money online.

Pick a product from clickbank market place.

Once you have your product from click bank, the next thing is to do a quick keyword research. The tool to use here is the free keyword suggestion tool by wordtracker here it is http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com. This is not the ultimate tool and it is not better than the goolge tool but it is perfect for a beginner.

Type in the niche of the product you have and get the keywords. Chosee the first five keywords or even dig deeper(they have a search on each word, click on it) and get long tail key words. There are the words you are going to use to write your article. You will use one key word per atticle and write five articles. Make sure the key word is in the title and in every 100 words used, but do not over do it. Mix in the other key words too since they are related words.

In your article if you are linking to a resource use th keywords as anchor texts.

So you have five articles, save them.

Next.

Open three accounts in blogger and two accounts in wordpress you will then set up blogs. Post the articles in two blogger blogs and then in the two wordpress blogs. Remember it is five article with different keywords.

Also remember we had three blogger accounts, the other blogger blog is like your main blog. Write a summary of the five articles and submit them in this blog with your affilaite link to the product. Have a product review or summary in this blog too, this should also link to the product. Do not give false claims, if possible buy the proudct, or study their sales page carefully and give an open opinion.

If you use amazon then choose a product that has over twenty reviews, this way you will have a lot to write about the product.

Remember no lies and tricks, people can spot  lies many virtual miles away.

The next thing,

Come into hubpages and write a well researched article on the product and link it to your main blogger account. Follow the rules here, otherwise you are out.

This should take no more than one day for all the six articles and posting in your blogs.

So you have your blog ready. I forgot to mention that the blog titles should have the keywords in them.

The best marketing tool that you can use to test the water is article marketing. Since you have your five articles and they are original and belong to you. You can use them in the article directory listed above. I know this will not go well as some people who think this is duplicate content, well I have been there. I used to write well written articles to directories at the expense of  my blog, not anymore, I put them in my blog first, they are mine, I did not steal them and duplicate content is a myth. Plagiarism is a crime. But your own content in different websites is not a a crime. i just learn t this recently.

In the next days, make sure you write one article a day and post it in ezine articles. If you can rite five then good for you. The articles should have the articles in the title and in the first paragraph.Have keyword rich anchor texts pointing to your main blogger blog. You cannot use wordpress as your main blog here since they do not accept affiliate links, unless you have it hosted on your own. You have to buy the domain name and hosting.

So for the next thirty days focus on doing this for two or three products and see which one converts. One article a day. Summary in your blog, more articles in the article directories. Ezine articles is the best, but goarticles is also good. Buzzle will not accept an article published elsewhere so you may want to leave them out.

If you have an article in goarticles, one link can be directly to the product and the other to your blog or even to an article in ezine articles to boost it up.Do this for thirty days and if no sale then move on.

I know, I know thirty days seems like a long time. I started out like that believing that I can make money overnight. Well you can try it out the overnight scheme and see if it works. It never worked out for me. Now I know that this is a business and I want to give it my best. Soon or later I will be having my real passive income, making money online, from what I am doing.

I did not say this will be easy work and I did not say it is a get rich quick scheme, I also did not say that this is the ultimate way a  newbie can make money online. However this is a good way to start out testing waters while gaining knowledge in affiliate marketing, choosing products and basic, yes, very basic keyword research.

I learnt this from a forum and it has been one of the ways that has made me see some good results for my work.

We also talked about social book marking sites. Bookmark all your articles and blog pages in the social bookmarking sites. Include twitter too. This way you will get indexed faster.

Starting out is hard, with having to open accounts in all these places and then writing the articles however when you start and focus, you will see some results.

There are many other methods out there. This should not be your method for the long run. Sooner or later you should have a blog and that you write in frequently and you do some SEO on it to be picked by the serps, continue learning and expand you horizon.
